18th National Meeting of the Spanish Society of Neuroscience

Researchers of SESCAM team attended to the 18th National Meeting of the Spanish Society of Neuroscience celebrated in Santiago de Compostela on 4- 6th September 2019. NEUROFIBRES  project results were presented during the poster session of the tematic area Disorders and Nervous Sytem Repair:

- del Cerro P, Romero L, Barriga A, Badajoz A, Collazos-Castro JE. (2019) Long-term neuropathological and motor impairments after cervical spinal cord injury in pigs. 18th Congress of the Spanish Society for Neuroscience (SENC).

- Riquelme-Alacid G, Collazos-Castro JE. (2019) Astrocyte behavior in relation to the composition of the growing substrate. 18th Congress of the Spanish Society for Neuroscience (SENC).

II Conferencia H2020 y Salud

The coordinator of NEUROFIBRES Project, Dr. Jorge Collazos, was invited as a participant of the round table “Research Opportunities for Health at the FET Programme" which was celebrated in the frame of the Second Conference H2020 and Health.

Le opportunità di finanziamento Horizon 2020 nei bandi Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) 2018-2020

Federico Bosia as member of a third party involved in Neurofibres project is going to attend the Convention "Horizon 2020 funding opportunities in Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) 2018-2020 bans” in Rome. The convention is promoted by APRE (Agenzia per la Promozione della Ricerca Europea) in collaboration with the European Commission

La ricerca sulla lesione al midollo spinale: trattamenti e proposte di cura nel panorama scientifico attuale

Prof. Pugno participated as a keynote speaker at “Research on Spinal Cord Injury: current scientific knowledge on treatments and care proposals" Convention. The Convention was on 6th October at Niguarda Hospital in Milan and Prof. Pugno talked about “Nanomaterials for medicine”.

Axon2nd NEUROFIBRES Consortium Meeting

AXON Cable hosts NEUROFIBRES 2nd face-to-face meeting. All project partners will meet during the first week of October in Axon facilities in Montmirail (France) inorder to review the current status of the project.

Biological Hands on Workshop

Some partners of NEUROFIBRES consortium will participate in a meeting entitled "Biological Hands on Worshop" next 13th and 15th June in order AMU logoto collectively establish the best spinal cord model for intravital imaging of cellular dynamics. The meeting is organized by Dr. Debarbieux and hosted by Aix Marseille University (AMU). For more details, see the following link:

Brain Awareness Week 2017

Semana Cerebro 2017Dr. Jorge Collazos as coordinator of NEUROFIBRES project participated in the activities programmed for the Brain Awareness Week 2017. NEUROFIBRES Project was presented in an open session focused on the research projects funded by the European Commission. This event was organized by the Hospital Nacional de Parapléjicos and Universidad de Castilla La Mancha who is hosting this meeting.
